My Teaching Philosophy

As an art educator, my main focus is to give students a space to experiment with, explore, and create art that is personal and meaningful to them. I believe that every student is unique in the way they approach art, and as such, I want to focus on different ways to make art, and allow students to embrace those methods and truly make them their own. I aim to make my classroom a positive space where students can express themselves through the works they create, and so my role as the teacher will be to guide students through each lesson, and provide motivation and input that will encourage students to grow.
